The Vitamins In Nuun Vitamins

Here at Nuun, we’re all about getting your daily recommend intake of electrolytes and staying hydrated on the go.  As Nuun continues to expand, offering more products for more optimized hydration applications, we want to make sure that we’re providing the information you need to make informed choices about how to balance your electrolytes and get the full benefits of hydration.

On days when you’re not breaking a sweat but still want to hit your daily electrolytes requirements and top off your vitamins, Nuun Vitamins is a great alternative to the Nuun Sport line. In six delicious flavors, Nuun Vitamins provides a vitamin boost to your vitamin levels. To further understand the benefits of these vitamins for your body we’ve put together a basic guide to vitamins and what role they play in the body. Enjoy!

Vitamin A: With benefits for your vision, immune system, and cell growth it’s no wonder this this little vitamin gets an A+ from us here at Nuun. Most Vitamin A is sourced from animal products, but our Vitamin A comes from Retinyl Acetate which we harvest from assorted vegetables.

Vitamin B: There are a number of different B vitamins, each with their own special benefits and applications. The specific B vitamin found in our Nuun Vitamins formula is Vitamin B6. This handy-dandy vitamin is best known for support brain development and keeping the immune and nervous system healthy.

Vitamin C: Famous for its supporting role in orange juice, Vitamin C helps the growth and repair of cells and many believe it’s a vitamin that helps fight the common cold. We think it’s pretty easy to “C” why we included it in our vitamin mix.

Vitamin D: Essential for your bones and teeth, Vitamin D is also great for your immune system and brain. Vitamin D is a powerful addition to your daily vitamin intake. One serving of Nuun Vitamins has 25% of your daily recommended Vitamin D serving.

Vitamin E: Last but certainly not least, Vitamin E has a diverse set of biological applications including support for vision, reproduction, blood, brain, and skin. Vitamin E is also an antioxidant, meaning it might protect cells against free radicals.

But wait, there’s more!

Nuun Vitamins also includes folic acid. Folic acid is found naturally in legumes and leafy vegetables and is useful for producing new cells and maintaining existing cells. Nuun Vitamins contains 34% of your daily recommended intake of folic acid, which is more folic acid than is contained in two cups of raw broccoli. While we love raw broccoli, we love the effervescent ease of Nuun Vitamins more.

This is just a quick overview of some of the key ingredients in Nuun Vitamins, for more information about the other vitamins and minerals continued in Nuun Vitamins, check out the Nutrition + Ingredients section on a Nuun Vitamins product page. Happy hydrating!
